Later, on Monday
We found our way to “Camperama,” and felt like we were coming home. This is the 5th or 6th time we have stayed here. Carol and Brian are the owners. They remembered us from the last time we were here. They bought the campground from Annie Faye, who we enjoyed so much getting to know. She now lives in Florida, but maintains a home on the grounds here. Today, she drove by, waved, and said she would come by to visit later.
We are camped overlooking the river. But we may have to move to a “dry camping” space before the Columbus Day weekend, coming up. In years past, we have seen this campground totally filled on this autumn holiday weekend, so we will be grateful to have a space, utilites or not! This afternoon, a beautiful rainbow appeared over Camperama.
There are a few hot spots on the property where internet access is available. So far, we are parked in one of those spots. Great! We can access internet, and receive email, hopefully for the next several days.
Lynn, I know you would like to hear from us every once in a while. I pour over your blog "almost" every day, and hang on your every word. You are soooo great at writing and describing everything that I feel like I'm there....your blog is actually an "escape" every once in a while for me. I even started tearing up when you were leaving Max, and your kids. So, thanks for your daily log - we're enjoying it so!! (sometimes Bill, too!!)
